RAFTING & HIKING IN ZAGORI
A demanding but at the same time a special rafting experience from Aristi Bridge to the stone single-arched Klidonia Bridge which is combined with hiking in Zagori!
Our activity will be held in Voidomatis river. Voidomatis springs are located near the village of Vikos in central Zagori. The river runs the green gorge of Vikos and meets Aoos in the valley of Konitsa. Surrounded by a rare natural environment, of great ecological value, Voidomatis offers us unforgettable experiences. During our descent we pass through age-old plane trees, caves, arched bridges and monasteries of the 17th century. The most daring can also dive in the crystal clear icy waters of the river.
Our rafting starts from the Bridge of Aristi and ends after the stone single-arched Bridge of Klidonia. The 6 km route does not require special technical abilities. Just before the end of the route we meet an extremely fun passage of a small artificial waterfall, as the icing of the cake of an exciting day! The route is ideal for beginners who want to get acquainted with the activity of rafting.
The adventure does not stop here! We continue with a unique hike from the Bridge of Klidonia to the Bridge of Aristi in Zagori.
